I enjoy a plant-based protein because it digests better and doesn’t give you a lot of bloating or digestive issues that whey protein can give.
Protein powders come in a variety of mixtures and flavors so try to find one that doesn’t have a ton of carbs, sugars, and fats added to it.

Drinking a smoothie with just water and protein powder isn’t very tasty unless you get the right kind of protein powder.
I do this sometimes, but that’s if I am literally running out the door.
If you have the time, you can definitely create a delicious smoothie by adding some wholesome flavors.
These flavors can include but are not limited to bananas🍌, strawberries🍓, kale, raspberries, blackberries, peanut butter🥜, mangoes, spinach, chia seeds, pineapples🍍, apples🍎, oranges🍊, flax seeds, cherries🍒, and various other ingredients.
The key here is to put different flavors together so that you get the maximum health benefits from your smoothie.
Adding whole milk🥛, yogurt, almond milk (I do this since I can’t drink milk), coconut water🥥 💦, etc to improve absorption and testosterone production for example.
Adding strawberries🍓 for vitamin C and antioxidants or an avocado🥑 for some healthy fats are another great option.
